Downloading MP3s from shady websites, using shady apps. Rock on!

Ahhhh yes Napster and Limewire and of course Kazaa, downloading AMV's and movies and songs just for it to be something completely different. I recall downloading Show girls when i was young hoping to catch a glimpse of a side boob, i ended up giving the family PC a nasty trojan that it never recovered from lol

The paranoia that the FBI would knock your door down any second for downloading that 3 minute song, ahhh i miss it lol

LOL, I downloaded so many viruses using Kazaa too! That app was a wreck, I can't believe that at some point, it was the hot shit and everyone was using it!

I remember downloading a movie (I can't remember what it was, maybe National Treasure or Van Helsing...?) to burn it on a CD and watch it on TV. Well, it was porn, what a surprise! LOL

Good memories!

It was always porn! Lmao

I still have a few songs from back in those days, some people would do these really neat mixes of all the popular songs and blend them together, it was really cool.

Now with Spotify and Amazon music there really isnt much of a point in buying or pirating music, although i still buy it now and then.

I don't download books very often, except when I need to just search through one for specific info, then it's useful. Otherwise, I always buy actual books on Amazon, or at a used book store I know. $3 for a novel, that's a good deal!

I still have songs from the early 2000s. Low-quality MP3s, 128kbps, we didn't notice how bad the quality was back then! Weird remixes and like you said, compilations and cool mixes! Awesome stuff!

I mostly listen to movie soundtracks, and Spotify (and other similar services) rarely have the complete version of the soundtrack. I usually download those complete editions on a couple of sites I found over the years.
