John said there were two types of people: those who would listen and those who would always want the "trains to run on time". He was right. You see that with all the people who oppose the Patriot Act. They want our borders to be safe from terrorists, yet they are the same complainers at the airport when they have to wait more than 15 minutes. You can't have it both ways.

Also, Karl, I think your Snowball Project is admirable. I hope it is a success. Remember, however, that John also stated that even in the end, when people realized what was happening and would have the chance to flee the cities, most would stay. People are just complacent now adays. Perhaps your project will help awaken them and if that's your passion, I say go for it. But after what I see happening today with people, I can't help but feel that John is right. People won't give up their "comfortability" to take heed and act before it is too late. It doesn't mean you shouldn't try if you feel urged to do so.....it's just something to remember so that when you see disinformation you don't let it overwhelm you.

You also stated somewhere that people will read the title of this post and skim the Disney article partially and run off half-cocked. They do that anyways. I've seen so much inaccuracy concerning what people think they've read on John because they've only skimmed the surface. Many have never read everything concerning Titor over at Anomalies because there is months worth of reading in many areas there. I've seen so many articles posted on numerous sites afterwards claiming Titor a hoax. All built around flimsy evidence because they didn't follow through with the reading or stop and think for themselves for a minute....just regergate what they've read. So in the end, no matter what you post, and how accurate it is, there is always someone around to repost it inaccurately. You can't be responsible for others inability to comprehend.

Okay, I just got a response back from the general info email at Epcot's web-site. According to them there are no street names, and they have never heard of "2036 Future Way", although I just asked about specifically the street. No new info really, but I think that in itself is pretty suspicious. The possibility just occured to me that this might have been a fake address used by Titor or someone else to register for something. Like a email registration or something. For those free emails (yahoo, hotmail), I almost use a fake address. VirtualGirl, when you searched on Google, did you search for "2036+future", "2036 Future Way", or "Future Way"?

I am unsure how the rest of you feel about the anti-political images Mr. Not And Art Bell Imposter is posting. However I am upset at the gross use of these boards. To pop on here and see disturbing images of those caliber are very upsetting. I for one do not need to see a mangled and burned child to realize the effects of war. For Not to use this thread as political bantering is a travisty and I for one do not agree with it. At the moment he is my least favorite member of this board.

Please try to keep off topic propaganda like that out of here, especially the graphic stuff. It's not conductive to the purpose of the Featured Threads forum. We have people of multiple ages viewing this site so we need to keep things as PG-13 as possible. Offending images removed.

When I first started researching JT, it wasn't to look for a fraud. I was actually looking for his true identity. I'm still researching. Things are happening just as he said they would, which is curious in itself. JT may not be a hoax. He could be the real deal, but someone has taken his name and turned that part into something. When he came on, I don't think his intentions were a book, t-shirts and mugs. Reading his posts, I never got that vibe from him. So, I continue my search, but now it's more to find out who is behind the propaganda not the man. Also, whoever is behind the "stuff" is connected to the lawyer. Think about it....if a family needed a lawyer to protect the identity of the child John and maybe set a trust for him as well as the family, would they use an entertainment lawyer? I wouldn't...I would use a lawyer who specializes in that field. Would you use an entertainment lawyer for a divorce or a criminal trial lawyer? Also, who is Oliver Williams? We still never solved that, but Mudpuppy made a valid point to me. When he has gone on Coast to Coast for his interviews, he doesn't sound like a plain guy who just compiled all the information. He sounds very professional, almost rehearsed. When asked questions, he doesn't miss a beat. He has an answer for everything. Isn't that also strange? And then there is the copyright point. When I checked it the book wasn't there. This was around Oct. of 2004. Only Karl S. material was there. A couple of weeks later I looked and it WAS there. Only it was dated September 2003. Not just anyone can go into the copyright office and do that. If I'm thinking correctly, that office is in Washington D.C.. It would either have to be the clerk that enters those things or someone in power that can manipulate the office material. You be the judge. Also, if you want to look at the earlier research, you can go to my profile, click on all threads started by me and it's the last one on the list. That would be my first thread. The title is Oliver Williams/JT research. It might give a better understanding to this current thread. :)

Yeah, I got that same feeling about Williams when I heard him on the radio... He was like a car salesman -- An answer for everything, and said the way you want to hear it.

I wanted to also add this to the mix. After Virtual posted her findings, I also ran a search (on a pay site) on Net Detective. It will not search the entire US at once. You must pick a state. So I ran J. Titor (I tried to just use "Titor" so I could get more hits but it forces you to enter a first initial) in every single state one at a time. I got zero hits. Now, we all know that John said Titor was a fictious name and we've theorized how he picked that name. That's not really the point. The odd thing here is, how do you pick a fake name in advance and already know that there will not be ONE person in a population of billions......not using that name. It's not like he picked Izzy Iskawich or Fran Tartarsauce or Englebert Humperdink (oh sorry, that one exists)......hasn't anyone else ever thought that was wierd? I do genealogy research all the time and I tell you, I've seen names I would never bet were real and yet they are. Titor isn't so unreal sounding.........and yet, neither Virtual's different databases and the one I'm using (or anyone else for that matter) has ever been able to pulled this name up anywhere.


Also, now that I see how Intellius works, I am more inclined to believe that someone most probably used John's fake name and made the 2036 Furture Way address up when signing onto an internet account and that generated the response that Virtual found. Many people put down false addressses. It was probably someone who was familiar with the story and when signing on to one of the many site talking about J.T., and not wanting their private info known (maybe one of our many hoaxers) created an internet account using that address. It's not like they haven't been known to sell their database information to others.

Also, concerning the Mission: Space. I went to Disney last year. I went the year before. I've gone 8 times over the course of 20 years. My parents took me and I've taken my children. Mission Space has been there for a long time. I clearly remember the ride. While there was alot of stuff about space and the future, there has never been anything about time travel there and certainly nothing that can tie the John Titor saga in. Last year I went to Universal Studios and I remember every street had a unique name. So I went out and bought the most up-to-date Disney street map since I don't remember Epcot having the same kind of street names as Universal and that it might have been something they added last year, and the 2005 version map is still the same. There is no Future Way street in Epcot or anywhere on Disney. There is a road called Future Drive outside of Epcot.....it's been there forever...nothing new.

So, with that, I have to conclude that those things, along with Haber's email to Pam stating that there is no Disney link, probably rules out this new evidence as pointing to JT as a hoax. Not because I want JT to be true, but just because I find it hard to make these pieces the third part of the pyramid needed to complete the story. Here is as much as we really have:(copied and pasted from mag article last January pretty well sums it up)

"Representing John Titor's supposed family is Larry Haber, a pricey entertainment lawyer based in Celebration, Florida. Also the location of the headquarters of the John Titor Foundation, Celebration is a master-planned community on Disney-owned real estate outside Orlando. Haber, one of Celebration's first residents, has been a Disney attorney. Some suspect that Haber or his teenage son may have originally propagated the hoax as a merchandising scheme or as a way to bring traffic to TimeTravelInstitute.com, where Titor's first postings appeared. Interestingly, the Web site originally had the same bulletin board administrator as the town of Celebration. Oliver Williams (the current editor of JohnTitor.com and compiler of our accompanying interview) is also suspected of being the supposed time traveler, using the John Titor Foundation as a cover."


Is there a story? Sure. I believe there is. What it is still remains to be seen. But I feel it is investigative work like Virtual's and input from all the people that posted in this topic that have added a little bit more each time to narrowing down the possibilities. I'm glad to see there are still so many enthusists, no matter in which direction, to the story and appreciate everyone's unique opinion. (and there are many, to be sure).

What's amazing is when we get these Pinheads that show up here thinking that no one else can think or reason for them selves. where the heck were they when it was time to chase the young girls? I could have used their BS then as anything was viable untill you proved it didn't work. I would wager that the most 'convinced' that arrive here did their ubiquitous stint at anomalies, the shark training cage.

You have not invented the Titor wheel. Nor do I give a rat's ass wether you feel that someother persons take on anything is important. Your opinion on anything does not interest me due to your actions here. If those pictures that you have posted are in anyway indicative of your political leanings then you can go play by yourself. somewhere else.

The tiotr saga could most definately be a construct of disgruntled personages that have been employed by the govt to do long range senarios. No trick here, the govt has employed think-tank type talents like these for the last 30 years. Military officers have done much the same in War College for just as long. So before you get on your "Nitwit" dispensing hobby horse, you STILL have brought nothing new to the table except your acerbic and bombastic attitude.

I really didn't mind not an art bell imposter's pictures, atleast he didn't have to call people names and bully people just because he couldn't handle anyone else's views. :)
