Agreed, However, you DO eventually realize that two things come to pass in that state of consciousness.(At least with me) 1.You are in fact dreaming, thus you awake within the dream. 2. You either follow along because of the inherent lesson / particular direction of the dream or you take control of the dream BECAUSE you are aware of being asleep and being in the dream state and being aware of BOTH.

IMHO, a 'ripple' in time has to be seen just like a long line of dominoes falling one by one.....

Here's the $64,000 question, what happenes to all those experiences that were lived up to that point in time where the time ripple intersects? How can you undo that which has been done?

Perhaps this is where the string theory of realities comes into play and the 'new' reality plays on into time insuring that neither are destroyed?

John Titor isn't a time traveler, I can say that with confidence. I liked the Movie back to the future and all, but whomever believes this is real needs to get a life. Traveling back in time the way John Titor says he does is just sci-fi bull. So if old johnny boy wasn't a real time traveler, how could he have predicted not finding WMD in iraq man? That one blows my mind....

If you, as Titor, knew that the New York skyline (the one most famous for skyscrapers, and most remembered by us) had been altered in this extraordinary way, this would be a very important thing to mention as illustrative of the "2%" divergence in history.

But his policy was not to alert anyone to instances of mass death and disaster (except for WWIII). So he is stuck: he wants to mention skyscrapers in a general sense, to give you an idea of the nature of the divergence, but the single dramatic example on his mind cannot be kept from the will to divulge-- something in the subconscious of all of us, I suppose.

As a result of this human impulse to warn, and to leak secret knowledge, his sentence is literally torn in half, starting out as a single building and ending up with a telltale verb referring to two buildings.

The little things will always betray the secrets.
