Lab Grown Meat

Veggie burgers were the first step to this. With the exception of Morningstar imo
most of them crumble apart in your hands even after you cook em and aren't
that good---certainly don't taste like meat.

Been hearing there's been contaminants in them:

Is Beyond Meat in Its Flop Era?

Falling sales. A mold and listeria outbreak in one of its plants. A (former) COO who bit a man’s nose.

I love Beyond Meat personally and Alpha foods make some great fake chicken vegan burgers. Also there is Gardein and quite a few other brands I like lol

Morningstar is the one I like. Gardeins makes chicken that you would swear is real chicken.

But imo MOST of it is just-------------wtf

Personally just glad Morningstar finally got rid of the eggs and milk in all their products.

I don't relish killing animals either. Just that real meat tastes better.
And that leads to the issue of making lab grown meat because
I think most people secretly know real meat (for the most part) tastes better.

I personally prefer vegan meats over real meat. Just a matter of perspective. I always used to pick out nasty bits of fat from real meat but now can eat a burger without any of that nastiness lol. Anyhow been vegan about nine yrs now

Yeah Gardein products personally creep me out as they are too similar to real meat. Anyhow do like their products on occasion though

The fish ones? They have algae smell fishy. Or is it different products?
