Ouija boards 2008

Re: Ouija Boards

well you could do guest thing first. I mean let him do it with some of the group but not all, and then use the others, and last have everyone get on board its a thought.

Re: Ouija Boards

Yeah, if my buddy tries before me, I have a lot more chances of success, you're right on that one.

I didn't think about that one, and it sounds good. :)
I'm going to do this !

Re: Ouija Boards

I do not know but this boards give me a funny feeling. I do not believe that I ever would use one. If I see one of this boards I instinctively shy away. I do not know the reason for this but its true.

Re: Ouija Boards

My brother an I used to mess around with them quite a bit. Even though we only played around and weren't serious about it at all, I still felt some kind of warning type feeling. Maybe it's the stigma attached to the object?

Re: Ouija Boards

I didn't try it yet, the only person I knew who had a board is unavailable. I'll try to get a board if I have a chance to.
I'm not even sure if I really wanna try seriously !

You could be right with the stigma. But my hackles get up if I see one of this boards.

Re: Ouija boards

When I was very young I remember seeing those boards, this was back in the 70's. Somehow I just knew they were evil. I have always stayed away from them.

My sister is quite the non-believer and skeptic, but she said that one of her friends in her class in high school died in a car accident, then a day or so after the funeral some of her friends wanted to go to her grave site and try to contact her with an Ouija board. So she went along expecting nothing to happen. She won't even tell me what happened, but she said that it definately wasn't nothing. She hasn't gone near one since. She brings this story up anytime the paranormal or ghost stories come up and it obviously effects her still strongly to this day.

I've had numerous employees who work for me tell stories about using them. Many of them tell about this one event, it always comes up. I've had 4 different guys work for me that were there at this Ouija board session. All of them tell of the same story. They said that the thing on the board was moving all over, spelling out tons of stuff, they all kept blaming each other for moving it, they all said that they weren't. One of the guys that is a pretty calm person, started talking in a strange and scary voice and then he picked up another guy by the throat and they said he seemed to have unbelievable strength. Then when he put the guy down, he laughed in a crazy laugh that wasn't anything like the guy normally laughs. The guy that this happened to, that was possessed or whatever it was. He worked for me for over a year and a half. He was always straight with me and we had a good relationship, and a very open and honest one. He swears that he doesn't remember picking the guy up or laughing or talking in that strange voice at all. I have to believe him, I'm usually very good at telling deception in people, there is no deception.

But they said after that event, that the room in the basement was always full of flies. A couple of times they did everything they could to kill all of the flies and clean up the room, especially this one window where they would mostly gather. They said within hours the room was full of flies again. They had numerous stories of weird activity after that event in the house. One of the guys still works for me. He says that he was sleeping in this room in the basement and a girl came up close to his bed and said, "Are you sleeping?" He said, "No, just resting." Then he got up and went upstairs and said, "Where did that girl go?" A couple of guys were there and said, "What girl?" No girls have been here today.

Just relaying the stories that they told me. I've heard them many times, from 4 different guys, stories never change and I don't sense any deception from any of them.

I've heard many more stories over the years.

I'm glad that I stayed clear of ouija boards my whole life and I will continue to.

Re: Ouija Boards

Hi Numenorean 7: this is a reminder of our little talk last night. Tell Amazing Randi we'll take it in tens and twenties. and oh yes, you guys don't know how to read a joke. I thought my jokes were extremely funny last night. But CMAC has a terrible memory. When was the last time he saw a Bugs Bunny cartoon on tv? I thought it was cute when I asked him about his suffering sssssssssssssssssssuctotash cat, you know the one that eats tweety birds. And the joke about the mack and meyer for hire twosome. one to hold the ladder and one to go for coffee. Francie is still cracking up over that one. Oh well, just make sure we get our money from Randy when CMAC becomes a major politician in his area. He's such a crack me up kind of guy. Randy that is. He doesn't believe I exist. I don't believe he exists either. He's just a figment of our imagination. and anyway, i don't think anyone wants to be around him much. He's duller than CMAC when it comes to telling jokes. See ya.

Re: Ouija boards

The only time I played, we used to close our eyes while letting the cursor move around. At some point, we randomly moved the board around to make it so that we had no idea where letters/numbers, or yes/no were located at all.

Yes, the cursor still pointed the right spots to "answer" questions.

I was pretty skeptic before playing, but that one time made me think it might actually work. I haven't been able to confirm any of the answers I got though.
