Doctor Who Night Terrors has some BEK dolls as this phenomenon is going mainstream now. Notice the pale ghostly skin, old fashioned raggy dresses, and of course the jet black eyes. Soul-less monsters from our FRIGHT mares. I think not, but rather an attempt to cash in.

nightterror1.jpg

The life-size dolls in "Night Terrors" are based on the peg dolls of Germany and the Netherlands.
The Episode writer Mark Gatiss had always been scared of dolls, and was surprised that Doctor Who had never used them before. He was especially interested in peg dolls, which he said were "the stuff of proper nightmares"

Hi TM:
Well, you ask if some one has let them in. I have and nothing bad happened to me. People fear the unknown and the BEK have a pale wan appearance. For this reason... some believe they are vampires.

Hi BT:
Peg dolls do appear creepy. However, the BEK are closer to dead dolls that were popular years ago. Goth to the max. Today, a person told me about a film - let me in. It is about a boy who befriends a young vampire. She does not look like a BEK, but like an average person. However, she wants him to let her in. Also, like a BEK she avoids light and only comes out at night which is scary. Great material for a horror movie. Maybe this is something that you care to comment on.

Crypto Four Corners - BEK Encounter

During a recent follow-up investigation, in connection with the Ultraterrestrial Assault Case, Crypto Four Corner's JC Johnson and his colleague Jack Cary encountered something that neither can explain. The incident occurred in the high desert around Gallup, New Mexico.

JC and Jack were in the backseat of a vehicle driven by a resident of the reservation, who was also accompanied by an acquaintance. The group was traveling on a dirt road on the high desert, along a rail line, searching for evidence related to the other case.

As they were observing the area from the car, they noticed an unidentified figure ahead of them. As they got closer, JC and Jack witnessed a female, seemingly in her late teens exiting the brush. The driver slowed the vehicle, though neither passenger in the front seemed to be uneasy or concerned by the presence of the female. In fact, they were busy talking to each other according to JC.

JC Johnson

The description given by JC and Jack was not typical of what someone would expect in this isolated location. The female was Caucasian and had an attractive face and figure. Her face and hair were clean, though she was wearing 6-inch cork heels (wedge) and a filthy, tattered one-piece denim jumpsuit.

JC asked if she was 'OK'...in which she replied 'fine...everything I need.' At that point she looked directly at JC and Jack. They were both stunned by what they say...and how they reacted.

Jack Cary

Her eyes were completely black in color...projecting evil and malice according to both witnesses. Immediately JC became disoriented and told the driver to leave...now! Jack became violently ill, almost to the point of throwing up. They both implored that they leave...though, the driver seemed to be unaware of what had happened. JC stated that he was totally confused as they eventually sped away...and that his head was 'burning' like an oven. Jack possesses spiritual healing abilities and attempted to alleviate some of JC's discomfort by transferring the pain through him. At the time, this greatly reduced JC's suffering, but led to several days of anguish for Jack.

Jack Cary's sketch of the black-eyed female

After traveling several miles from the incident, they stopped the vehicle and got out to revitalize themselves. Oddly enough...JC looked back in the direction they had come from and noticed a figure in the distance walking towards them. They quickly got into the car and continued on their way.

JC continues to experience bouts of disorientation.

The witnesses conferred with David Weatherly, who is a close colleague of JC and Crypto Four Corners. David is an authority on BEK phenomena and authored The Black Eyed Children
ir

It has not been determined if this was a BEK (Black Eyed Kids) incident per se...though there is some indication that possible shapeshifting and/or spiritual malevolence may have contributed in this incident. The fact that both witnesses exhibited an extreme physical response during this encounter designates it as an eerie unexplained event. Lon

Black Eyed Kids

The Link: Black Eyed Kids | All About Occult

These harbingers of doom are demonic children or teens with intimidating pitch-black eyes with no observable differentiation between the sclera, the iris and the pupil. Many a terrified witness has reported seeing them in groups playing games or singing kindergarten rhymes as "he jumped into a bramble bush" in lonely secluded areas. Sometimes they even show up at the house, asking for assistance and pleading entry, with deadly intentions of malice shall the innocent victim accede.

Typical Encounter:

As already stated, the black eyed kids will often turn up at the doorsteps of ordinary, unsuspecting folk, describing a problem and pleading the victim to let them into his house. Their innocent age, generally 8 to 17 years, should usually evoke a feeling of sympathy in a person's mind, but no. Instead, their very presence causes such a spine-chilling fear and a sense of imminent threat that surpasses any emotion of sympathy. The black eyed kids often speak and behave in a manner way too mature for their ages, further increasing their creepiness. They always have a tendency to hide their abnormal eyes, by facing away from the witness to avoid eye contact. Witnesses even report that the black eyed kids use some preliminary mind controlling technique to influence their victims. In spite of a terrible unsettling feeling caused by their presence, the victim often finds himself unconsciously letting them enter his property, as if some mysterious force had taken over him. When he is just about to let the black eyed kids in, it is typical of the victim to suddenly notice their otherworldly eyes. When the black eyed kids realize that their eyes have been noticed they become highly persistent and angry that they be let in and the victim escapes the site of occurrence fearing impending doom.

Notable Sightings:

Sightings of the black eyed kids began in the 1980s. While the early reports believed them to be aliens, later sightings attribute them to the demons or spirits of deceased children.

Jim Stills: Jim Stills from Massachusetts would habitually go out of his house every night to smoke a cigar. One day he noticed a kid walking slowly down the street with an unusual gait. From then on, Stills would see the boy every night pacing from one house to another from 10pm onwards. Freaked out by the boy's abnormal ways, Stills stopped going out of his house at night. However, he would always observe the boy pacing slowly from one house to another up to 3am. Eventually Stills forgot about the boy and unsuspectingly went out of his house one night with a cigarette in his hand. A chill ran down his spine as he saw the boy standing right before him, for the boy's eyes had no sclera or iris, but were pure black eyes that emitted a feeling of dread and horror. The boy asked Stills to let him in his house. Intimidated and terrified, Stills ran into his house and banged the door shut, and never dared go outdoors at night again. He occasionally peeked out of the window at night, but never saw that strange black eyed kid again.

Black Eyed Woman in Michigan: As Chris and her husband drove in their car through I-75 in Michigan, they made a stop at the rest area. As Chris made her way out of the women's room, she came across a slender, black haired woman who had pitch-black eyes. The eyes bore no emotions and were in desperate search of a vulnerable prey. She had a strange feeling of superiority, as if she possessed superhuman powers. Chris felt an immediate need to run away, without letting the black eyed woman know of her fear. Therefore she escaped swiftly, with the toughest attempt to appear normal.

Black Eyed Teenager in Poland: An apartment manager in Oregon, Poland, Tee is a 47-year-old woman who was, one day, approached by a boy of 17 or 18 who inquired for an apartment for rent. Tee felt a strange coldness and sense of danger taking over her as she noticed the boy's coal black eyes. Although the boy spoke and acted normally, Tee felt so awfully scared that she had to close the door right on the boy's face and run away.

The Black Eyed Children who Knocked at the Door...: Adele was reading a book in her bedroom when, at about 11pm, she was startled by a slow knocking at the door. She looked out of the window and saw two children of roughly 10 years. They said that they wanted to use Adele's bathroom. Astonished at seeing two small children wanting to use her bathroom at this time of night, she refused and shut the window. She gazed through the window glass and saw that the children had coal black eyes. Adele was struck with a horrible feeling of fear and sorrow.

Explanations:

Skeptical:
The most obvious skeptical explanation that the black eyed kids are ordinary teens pulling up pranks on people by wearing black contact lenses is rejected due to the fact that black contact lenses are very costly, npt affordable for small pranks. Secondly, the black eyes can be a result of injury to the brain or the consumption of certain bath salts and other drugs.

Vampires:
In popular culture, it is believed that vampires require your permission to cause you any harm. The black eyed kids may be vampires disguised as small children to look innocent and easily acquire the trust of the people.

Demons:
The Christian theology states that demons cannot affect your life without your own consent. Therefore the black eyed kids can be demons trying to look harmless to people and deceive them using their shrewd and evil contrivances.

Aliens:
There are stories of Grey Aliens, who are 4-5 feet tall extraterrestrials with totally black eyes who are gifted with psychic abilities to control the human mind using telepathy. The black eyed kids can be aliens who want to observe us without being observed, thus taking the form of small children to appear normal.

Ghosts:
Black eyed kids may be the spirits of the children who died of unnatural causes and are thus unable to leave the material world.

What Happens if you let a Black Eyed Kid in?

If you are anxious to know what happens if you let a black eyed kid enter your house, read this. An anonymous person reported at Para-Rational.com that when he was sitting in his bedroom, he heard a knock at the door. Opening the door, he found two children facing towards the ground. The taller one told him that they were lost and needed to call up their parents and the smaller child required to use his bathroom. Not noticing their eyes, the person lets them in. After showing the smaller one the bathroom as he guided the elder one to the telephone, he suddenly had a strange feeling of uneasiness. Now, the tall boy looked straight at him with his fearsome coal black eyes and told him that they were sent to "collect him". The person was highly scared and ran away to his friend's house through the backdoor. On returning after some time with his friend, the person could no longer find the black eyed kids in his house.

So, have you seen a black eyed kid or know of someone who has? Have something to say about the black eyed kids? Please make use of the comment section below.

An urban legend says that children with completely black eyes go around trying to be allowed inside.

They might knock on your door on a late, quiet night that you're home; or if you're out, they might approach your car while you're stopped. They might seem to be in need of your help, or they might just want to come in for no clear reason. They won't look threatening; mere children, in fact. But they do want to come in. They may give you this excuse or that one, but no matter what you say, they will persist. They must get in. And you will say no. You will say no because they are not quite right: their eyes are black. Pure black. From lid to lid, dead black orbs devoid of sclera or iris will send a chill up your spine. They are the black eyed kids.

Stories about these creepy looking children have been multiplying in recent years. Virtually all of them are copy-and-pasted from one web page to another, or appear in self-published, print-on-demand books that are little more than copied Internet content. Thus it's pretty hard to attribute very many of the stories to credible witnesses. Nobody has ever taken a reliable photograph of a black eyed kid; none have ever been stopped by authorities on the lookout for runaways. Real or not, the black eyed kids are known really only from the many oft-repeated accounts of dubious origin:

1. I was sitting on the couch watching a movie, when suddenly I heard someone hardly beating the door. I got up went to the closest next to the front door and pulled out a cricket bat. I opened the door and I saw three kids standing there... One of them told me that they were lost and needed to call there mum. They asked to come in, that was the biggest mistake of my life when I said okay... I went into the living room and what I saw amazed me little. All three of them were sitting quietly, faced down. At the same time all three of them looked at me. Those were seriously the most scariest eyes I had ever seen. But staring at them for 10 seconds more and I was screaming like a girl. I ran towards the garage door, I felt all three of them running after me because I could hear their feet thumping the wooden floors. I ran into the garage and locked the door.

2. I looked through the peephole... Outside were two kids... Had it not been for the feeling of overwhelming dread and fear, I probably would have asked these children in and given them some tea or hot chocolate to get them out of the bitter cold. Something about them seemed off... The older one spoke. She had a voice that was mature, confidant, strong, and accentless. She held her head tilted downward, and I couldn't see her eyes. She said "We have to use your phone." I stood frozen in fear. How did she know I was there? She raised her head to face me directly, and that was when I saw her eyes. There was a reason I couldn't see them through her bangs before- they were black, or midnight blue, or a dark, dark purple- they were otherworldly. She said "Our mother is worried."

3. I saw some kid walking back and forth along the sidewalk in front of my parked car... The boy walked over to the side of my car and just stares, I think to let me get a good look at his eyes. To freak me out. Let me tell you.. If you have never seen a black eyed kid.. you have no idea what to imagine. Pupils black as the night sky. The boy whispers "You must let me in" and then i locked the car doors and ducked down into the space below the seats. Five minutes later he was gone. When my mother got into the car she told me a boy with black eyes had came into the hairdressers had insisted for my mother to give him the keys to the car.

Stories told by anonymous posters identified only by their Internet handle. Overall, the body of evidence is not a compelling one. A number of eyewitnesses claim to have called the police and had them show up, but the literature is notably devoid of the police reports that would have resulted.

Many amateur researchers have tried to suggest real-world explanations for the black eyed kids. Full-sclera contact lenses are widely available for costumes that can make your entire eye look black, and it's been suggested that perhaps some kids out looking to scare people might have gotten some and gone around knocking on people's doors. Although this is perfectly plausible (and in fact I've no doubt that someone at some time has tried this), it's not a very good explanation for the phenomenon as a whole. First, the suggestion that a sufficient number of hoaxers has done this to account for the urban legend means that someone would have eventually been captured on home security video, and that does not seem to have happened. Second, it's not a very good plan. What would the contact-lens wearing kids do when someone did let them in? Wave their arms and shout "Boo"?

Other natural explanations have included the condition mydriasis, dilation of the pupils, which can be caused by various drugs or trauma or other things. A few authors have proposed that the strange, almost mechanical behavior of the kids might be consistent with having taken drugs that may produce mydriasis. I found this to be an even worse explanation than the contact lens hoax. First it's purely hypothetical. I couldn't find any example of drugs that produce both mydriasis and mechanical behavior of wanting to be given admittance to a house or car. Second, eyes with dilated pupils don't look anything like eyes with an entirely black sclera.

But let us return to one of our most important skeptical mantras: before trying to explain a strange event, first make sure that the strange event ever actually happened. With the literature devoid of any testable, non-anecdotal evidence that black eyed kids actually exist, we must consider the possibility that its origin is folklore. This can be pretty hard to establish, since finding an early folkloric account doesn't necessarily prove that something wasn't also happening in the real world somewhere.

Researchers have looked into this, and have not come up empty handed. Tales of black eyed kids are found widespread on the Internet and in paranormal books, but only from about 1998 and forward. The earliest published account that anyone's been able to find was posted to the Usenet newsgroup alt.magick on July 30, 1997, by Brian Bethel, a newspaper spirituality columnist in Abilene, Texas. He also posted the same story a month later in alt.folklore.ghost-stories, with an additional epilogue about how he spoke to some friends afterward who reported a similar experience. Bethel's original account was lengthy, but here's a heavily edited overview:

I drove by the theater on the way into the center proper and pulled into an empty parking space. Using the glow of the marquee to write out my check, I was startled to hear a knock on the driver's-side window of my car. I looked over and saw two children staring at me from [the] street... Both were boys, and my initial impression was that they were somewhere between 10-14... I rolled down the window very, very slightly and asked "Yes?" The spokesman smiled again, broader this time. His teeth were very, very white. "Hey, mister, what's up? We have a problem," he said... His command of language was incredible and he showed no signs of fear. He spoke as if my help was a foregone conclusion... "C'mon, mister," the spokesman said again, smooth as silk... "Now, we just want to go to our house. And we're just two little boys." That really scared me. Something in the tone and diction again sent off alarm bells... "C'mon, mister. Let us in. We can't get in your car until you do, you know," the spokesman said soothingly... For the first time, I noticed their eyes. They were coal black. No pupil. No iris. Just two staring orbs reflecting the red and white light of the marquee. At that point, I know my expression betrayed me... "WE CAN'T COME IN UNLESS YOU TELL US IT'S OKAY. LET ... US .... IN!"... I ripped the car into reverse (thank goodness no one was coming up behind me) and tore out of the parking lot. I noticed the boys in my peripheral vision, and I stole a quick glance back. They were gone.

Bethel has maintained his story, giving every indication that it was a factual account. But he also gave us an interesting insight into the reason he may have posted it. On the very same day, he made another lengthy post to alt.magick in which he discussed the childhood belief in the Bloody Mary game: if you go up to a mirror just at midnight, in the dark, and say the name "Bloody Mary" three times, she will appear to you in the mirror. Bethel posed the question of whether such an imagined entity might actually become real, driven by the belief of enough people.

Then I thought to myself: What a situation ripe for a spontaneous expression of magick. The will, in this case, is the belief, especially among those who were brave/foolish enough to try the ritual itself. The method by which the necessary reality shift would be accomplished is the fear the story and the (imagined?) entity produced... So, can we create something like Mary just by collective force of will? If not just childhood legends why not gods and goddesses as well? Are they all just expressions of enough collective reality shifts? Or can they somehow exist on their own?

And then, that same evening, Bethel posted his black eyed kids account. Put the two ideas together, the proposal of creating a new urban legend with a tale of mysterious black eyed children, and we have a perfectly plausible explanation for the phenomenon besides it actually being a real thing. Of course we can't presume to know what was in Bethel's head; but we can make a reasonable guess.

So until someone dive-tackles a black eyed kid and calls the police, or lets one into his home and gives him a good video interview, I'm going to hold off buying into this particular urban legend. And to the originator of this tale, whosoever he might be, I say: Well crafted, sir, well crafted.

Highly unlikely because they are telepathic and can sense you.

Most of the time I do not do this, but here is a book about a girl who had a room mate that was a human / alien hybrid - Rachelle's eyes.
Raechel's Eyes: The Strange but True Case of a Human-Alien Hybrid - Kindle edition by Helen Littrell, Jean Bilodeaux. Religion & Spirituality Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com.

I have talked to a lot of you about my BEK experiences. Well, here is another one.

Back when I was seven I would get yelled at for using the phone and wasting money. Believe it or not, we have a phone booth in our barn... not sure why this is so. I would go to the phone booth and call my grandfather up. Usually, he was out and I would talk to granny. They would come by every week end and bring my stuff like toys and money.

My sister would also talk to granny. I would be on the phone for hours, but granny would switch the charges to her phone so mom and dad would not yell at me. While I was on the phone, a BEK girl walked up to me. "Will you play with me?"

She would always come on days when it was gloomy and rainy. Basically, she would just show up. Actually, this BEK girl never came when it was sunny - never. I would take food from my fridge and give it to her because she was very skinny, anemic, and sickly looking with a small narrow nose. That reminds me. She was always coughing up a storm even. Also, she had small thin lips - white hair like snow. Skin was very pale and black eyes.

Dad would yell at me. Stop taking our food and giving it to strangers, and I don't want that weird girl coming any more.

Maybe you think that we were poor. That is not the case. Dad had a brand new car. Also, he was the number two person at a large company.

Sadly, my dad did not get along with our neighbors any. He is a very confrontational person.

Neighbors told me the BEK girl was a ghost, but that is not so. Ghosts do not eat solid food or ask for water. A boy told me that she showed up. She asked for stuff like water and to use our phone, but my mom tell her to go away. He would give her water and that she was nice.

Actually, my own mom talked to her more an once. This is evidence I have that she was real, as other people saw this person.

BEK girl would come when I was on the phone talking to granny. Most of the time she was sad, like she wanted to cry. For her, smiling was rare. She wore old dresses that looked 1700's or something a Mennonite might wear.

I would try to cheer her up. She would say. "Ah um, you are lucky to have a sister, as I have no one." I told her she could have me.

She one time came and saw that I got a beating, this was for bringing her food, and she started crying. She asked me if I would be her boyfriend and I said yes. Please remember that I was only seven. This was for me a new experience.

The next day, I bragged to the boys at school that I had a girlfriend now. OK so one boy asked, "Did you kiss her?" I said "Ah... no." He said, "If you do not kiss her, she is not your girlfriend, but just a friend, or even an enemy."

When the BEK girl came by, I asked her if I could kiss her and she said yes. After that I felt funny, like she put energy in me. I was never the same.

She was similar to this one. Mystic Lami the vampire.

"Trust me, it tastes like cow urine. Whaaa yooo like rotten a thing any way? That iz so gross."
"What about milk?"
"I find it amusing."

'She has unfinished business': Psychic gets best photo yet of Black Eyed Child ghost

A PSYCHIC who photographed the infamous ghost of the Black Eyed Child believes the girl has "unfinished business" in the area.

SNAPPED: The girl was caught on camera by Christine [SWNS/IG]

Christine Hamlett travelled to the haunted woodland of Cannock Chase with the Daily Star, where a number of sightings of the terrifying spirit have emerged over the past month.

She was able to get a photograph of the ghost after claiming to use her special powers to force the ghost to present itself to her.

After her experience, the medium says she now knows how the girl died.

She said: "I think they are spirits with unfinished business. They have a story to tell and I feel that once they have said what they want to, they will be willing to pass to the other side."

"In this case I smelled a strange smell and just felt like I was being taken back in time.

"At the moment I think she may have been a victim of an outbreak of diphtheria in the area.

"I think she has something to do with the workhouse."

Christine, 57, warned any members of the public who are approached by the spirit to not interact with the girl as it may put them in danger.

She said: "It's intriguing me that there seem to be so many ghosts around at the moment. It must be terrifying for the individuals who see them."

"These black-eyed child ghosts are reportedly the bringers of bad news. So my advice would be not to interact with them unless you know what you're doing.

"These children are troubled souls and they don't hang around for nothing."

SCARY: Christine travelled to Cannock Chase earlier this month and believes she knows how the girl died [SWNS/NEWSTEAM]

“My advice would be not to interact with them unless you know what you're doing.”

Christine Hamlett
Christine, who has been contacting spirits for 40 years, says she is unsure if she will return as she wants to analyse her photos.

Her report comes almost one month after the ghost was spotted for the first time in 30 years.

Since then, there have been a number of sightings of the spectre with dog walkers, runners and investigators coming across the scary spirit.

Ian Lawman, one of the world's leading exorcists, believes the ghost may be linked to the murder of seven-year-old Christine Darby in the 1960s, whose body was found in Cannock Chase.

He took part in a Daily Star investigation earlier this month and said: "I had a very negative feeling when we were up there and I think it is linked.

"It's also common for ghosts with black eyes to have been blindfolded or had their sight restricted shortly before their death.

“The feeling I got there makes me think there could be more bodies up there too.”
