Slenderman is actually a monster who works for the Illuminati and he shows
up for work in a suit and tie. He's sophisticated but creepy.

He doesn't act it when he strangles people to death in the woods

My educated "guess" is that he probly works for a group of demons not necessarily the Illuminati but that was my best guess, and shows up for

Back on topic: Perhaps when people "cosplay" they are in a sense literally channeling

Everyone is so in character and everything comes so naturally it's as if they really are the Addams Family.
