I went ahead and found the story. Link is here >> http://abclocal.go.com/wjrt/news/112404_NW...a_standoff.html

IcePick,
You seem to be spreading a negative vibe around the forums with your comments. This is the last time I'm going to ask you nicely: Shape up or ship out. I'm making it my personal mission to make sure the drama around here is reduced to a minimum. We've had too much of it lately, and I've worked too hard around here to let you, and others, pollute this forum with your trolling. PLEASE, knock it off. This is your last warning.

There was a link at the bottom..

\"Within an hour of us coming out here, around 1:00 or 1:30 a.m., officers did hear gun shots within the house. They didn't feel that those were shot towards the officers, but that did concern the officers on the scene,\" Sergeant Roger Parent of the Kent County Sheriff's Department told 24 Hour News 8.http://www.woodtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=2...46&nav=0RceTV25

Emphasis mine.

But, the said scenario is hardly what I call a "waco incedent". It's sometimes common for someone who's suicidal to call the police, or make a scene for them to arrive and wave a weapon at them, hoping they'll shoot him. It's nothing more than that.

I'b be willing to bet that's exactly how the federal government would classify Waco..

You're right, that was my mistake. I shall strive to do better in the future :)
