When my cousin started hitting on me sexually, her father was forced to have the very uncomfortable incest talk with his daughter, because the school did not explain those things and reading pervy Manga only made her more confused. Most parents would not even know how to begin such a conversation.

Non-vote. From a Strick classroom standpoint as taught in sexual education, yes incest and the genetic byproducts of the actually practice of incest should be taught as part of the general sex education curriculum.

The student, since they will be a citizen in the republic and be taxed for that supportive relationship later on, has the right to know what the reproductive consequences of marrying too close to the family tree.

In many families to where social stature and power & wealth are of issue, there's the past noted practice of marrying cousins and even sisters to keep that position or wealth in the family line. Since in incest, this is not fresh genetic materials infused into that family line both birth defects and birth trait anomalies are exhibited in the offspring.

So to quell this practice, usually a governing board advises the population that sometimes unrelated marriages could produce better genetically off children.

The foresaid in no way is encouraged by pornographic claims of sex between son and mother or father and etc. are real. This erotic showing is more than likely for psychological past issues, or simple erotic needs e.g. isn't real they're paid pornographic actors and more often than not, what one is seeing is not based in fact.

There's a few other reasons why it's wrong other than just the "what if they have a baby thing"
siblings are supposed to help each other make it out in the world and start their own thing, do their
own thing etc. it limits ones ability to stretch out into the world if they end up married into their
own family (unless you're Royalty)

Note family tends to be overprotective and weird.
So if you're "that way" with your own family it ends up
being like a giant cult of sorts that you never get out of.
More often than not I think that feelings between brothers and
sisters or sisters and sisters bros etc tend to occur due to
rebellion against parents or bad abusive situations to begin with,
rather than an actual longing to marry ones sibling (not all the time but often)
Other times it's just that siblings find each other hot due to hormones
and getting turned on by everyone of the opposite sex (or the same) and this probly
happens to almost everyone at some point, however there is a certain built in disgust factor with some people
in regards to this as well. Just depends. Other times people get over the disgust factor.
Also, notice that when it comes to stepmothers and stepsons etc
in porn VERY often the theme is that the dad is not satisfying the mom
so the mom turns to the son for sexual help. Clearly that family has problems and should
probly just split up and start a new one somewhere else rather than resort to incest?
Note: I know there's exceptions to all these rules and there's of course
loving couples of all kinds who manage to make things work.
But let's speculate here.
Incest marriage defeats the entire purpose of being born to a degree,
you are supposed to eventually leave your immediate family or surroundings,
if you stay in the same spot you were when you were born, why even be born?

That said, yes stepsibling and stepfamily porn is popular right now.
That's cuz no one can get laid, duh. It's a bad sign.
That says something about how far we've slipped in our society, lol.
If stepfamilies etc. experiment now and then, meh, not that big a deal,
and it might actually be healthy (if done safely).
But incestual marriage just confirms the entire slippery slope
argument of the right. And next comes "safe" bestiality and everything else.

When it comes down to it civilizations often collapse when sexual activity
becomes the most discussed thing. It's because a lot of people are just
apparently naturally predisposed to being opposed to free love or
certain types of sexuality (which might be a shame but just is true)

So when you make every type of behavior the center of discussion
you always have the sex positive people and the sex negative people
and it's always a divisive thing. Certain types of behavior always
will offend someone and it doesn't mean the opposition is necessarily
hateful. It's like if one guy likes garlic and the other guy doesn't
he'll ALWAYS find it disgusting.

You keep things to a minimum and have at least a small degree
of standards or everything eventually goes to pot. I wish it didn't work that way. It does, sorry.
However, I dislike prudes myself. Not even a huge fan of traditional values.
But upfront sexual deviance mostly just creates more prudes ironically.

The assumption of the left wing is that all disgust at sexual activity originates from religion.
In my honest opinion this is not one hundred percent true-----only partially true.
The left takes a "Green eggs and ham" approach to nearly everything, assuming
that if you ram something down someone's throat enough they'll eventually
decide they like it. Not always true. And immature to think so.

Some people do not like sex at all. They're just predisposed not to.
Some people are VERY offended and it's just in their nature.

If you like toast and I don't....I don't hate the person who doesn't like
toast. I simply don't like toast and I get very disgusted at someone
eating toast. That said yes there's real bigots but sometimes
it's just a matter of preferring ones own preferences to things
mistaken for bigotry. If someone infringes on your right to
eat said toast----that's when it's true bigotry.

Sex education is a double edged sword. You could argue it's not necessary entirely,
if society just calmed down a bit about making sex the center of everything.
You have standards. You live by them, hard as it is.

The very fact a debate about whether incest should be taught in schools
is even taking place speaks volumes about how low we've sunk as a society.
Colonization of space, time travel----those things are honestly more interesting than the next
sex thing that gets legalized.

I wanted to give you a :titorific: for this that I have bolded above
because I share the exact same sentiment.

If people could just see people without judgement,
we would have a lot more peace in our world.

IMHO, of course. ;)

Sometimes it just happens on the spur of the moment, like a handful of candy coped from a dish.

I was bullied online for having sexual relations with my family. I learned to stop immediately otherwise I will have a dead child and scorned by society. I was worried that the society will begin to allow incest children in marriages instead of abortions, the next morally corrupt choice. Why should I touch it with the ten foot pole when the left and the right are bickering about abortions? Because of incest and rape that might come next to being legalized.

Just a skeleton thing in the closet so to speak.

However, we were kids when we had incest and me and my brother didn't know any better.
