I get and and sorta like / am interested in what your saying.. A flawed AI would imply suffering.. I say someone connect to the collective consciousness already
 
Consider that if from higher Dimensions the dimension of time and timelines can be seen as 1 Point then if you are connected to the collective Consciousness and therefore on a higher Dimension consciously you should not need to create an artificial intelligence with the ability to transcend time because your Consciousness would be Beyond it already
 
If you do go to the past, you will learn that people now are a lot happier than they once were.

That's an error based on the cultural phenomena on 'smiling for the camera' which developed with time. People originally didn't smile for the camera because nobody said they should.
