To have a revolution (which is what the \"civil war\" actually is as described) you need the military to side with the people; otherwise, what you have is nothing more than a series of riots.
This sounds more like these guys are showing a lack of a spine in the face of the enemy than a spine in the face of their surperiors.WASHINGTON (10/15/04) - The Army is investigating reports that several members of a reservist supply unit in Iraq refused to go on a convoy mission, the military said Friday. Wow, that's more than I even thought. An entire platoon could be anywhere from 10 to 30 soldiers...
And yeah, if the vehicles were unsafe I'd tell the commander to go screw himself too. Who wants to break down in the middle of hostile territory?
