Just a point to consider, in regards to the idea of "which god is the real god", people often forget that in terms of modern religion, God as worshiped by Christians, Allah as worshiped by Muslims, and YHWH as worshiped by Jews, all three Gods are accepted as the same entity. All three have links back to the same stories, based around Abraham/Abram, it only after that point that the religions deviate.
This is correct. For those who want more detail...
Abraham (originally known as Abram) had two sons. The first son was conceived with the handmaiden of his wife, Sarah. This son was named Ishmael, and his descendants are the Muslims, the nation of Islam.
Abraham's second son, conceived with his wife, Sarah, was named Isaac. Isaac's descendants are the Hebrews, the Jewish nation. The Jewish people follow the Word of God as written in the Torah, which is basically the Old Testament.
From Isaac, through his descendants, we eventually come to the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus and His Apostles were all Jewish. After Jesus was crucified and resurrected, His followers became known as Christians.
Jews who did not believe Jesus was the Messiah continued to live by the Old Testament, and do not accept the New Testament as the Word of God. Christians believe in both the Old and New Testaments. The New Testament is about the birth and life of Jesus and the Word of God that was given at that time.
