Another Inside the HDR Thread: Dissecting my HDR

I totally agree. The wire for the magnet is the most expensive item on the list. The magnet is very tedious and time consuming to make. I tried to duplicate the magnet but was never able to obtain soft iron for the core. Ordinary steel tends to heat up very rapidly.
dont use iron i tried that and it dident work use mild steel bars 2 inches in diameter this enables it to run hours and never get hot

i have SAME INTEREST TO SEE UNDER THE DIODE BOARD AND SIDE VIEW OF THE CADUSES COIL Please Doc5 take Hi Res Pics i am building an HDR now i ordered the last 1.0 uF 250V Metalized Film Capacitor (Blue ) Capacitor on Ebay.
Note: the copper plate under the diodes; Steve at one time tried a copper screen, but went back to the copper plate due to concerns about creating a "vortex" inside the unit by using screen.

NOTE: a quicker way to open the images is to
Right Click on the image and choose,"Open Link in New Tab".
This will open just the image in a new tab on your computer
and you can enlarge or copy and save from there.

As I go through the HDR, I'll post what I know about the components.
Steven Gibbs purchased most of the parts from Digi-key and Radio Shack.
Some of the parts are now discontinued, but can be found on Ebay.

I'll try to answer any questions about parts as best as I can or am able to find out.

My goal is to keep Steven Gibbs
and the Hyper-Dimensional Resonator (for lack of a better term) "alive".

Thank you for support and interest.

i believe that Steven Gibbs died cuz he started worrying to much when he found out that they dont make some of the parts for HDR one more stroke and the Legend (Steven Gibbs) died.

Steve always said that when God called him to the other side,
it was going to be right before the "end of the world".

With current events, he may have been right all along.
May God bless Steven Gibbs. ;)

the coper plate under the diodes if not enameled coated will only short the diode chain out and theres no information that it even creates a vortex so having a copper plate even screen will only short the diode chain out look at the solder on the diodes under the board now look at the coper plate if the coper plate was even enameled coated so the diodes wont short out on it i still don't see any valid reason how thats going to create a vortex
