Democratic Woes

I wholeheartedly agree about freeloaders and that every able bodied person should get a job. I am against welfare but what Trump fails to address is the health insurance because in this country, obviously health care is a privilege and not a human right. There are many things Trump is failing on. I am not a liberal but I have to say that Trump’s allegiance is not to this country. He is just for himself.

I don’t think he has even started bringing the jobs back to USA. He has not even corrected the NAFTA deal which the idiot womanizer from the 90s had no business starting. My point is he is not keeping his promises and he is a racist on top of that.

In the first 21 months of the Trump presidency, nonfarm employment grew by a seasonally adjusted 2.6%. In the same period, manufacturing employment grew by 3.1%, reversing the trend under Obama when overall employment grew faster than employment in the manufacturing sector.

Comparing the last 21 months of the Obama administration with the first 21 months of Trump’s, shows that under Trump’s watch, more than 10 times the number of manufacturing jobs were added.

Oh, Obama did not help our economy in the least. What I dislike most about him is supplying Iran the nuclear weapons.

Congress writes the healthcare laws, not the president. Blame congress.

Border control is not racism. Skin color never once involved. Not once.

On top of that he certainly HAS been keeping campaign promises - FAR more than any President in my lifetime, and I go back to Eisenhower.

Not so fast there buddy.

Trump has kept 15.7% of promises so far.

Obama kept 48.4% of promises.

Granted Trump is only in year 2 of his term, so there is plenty of room for increase, decrease, or status quo. Plus the Obama numbers account for 2 terms, so he had much more time to work with. I wish there was a comparison between Trump and HW Bush just for a recent gauge of Republican presidents (I didn't say GW Bush only because I fear that the promises kept would be substantially lower than HW Bush).

I am not a liberal but I have to say that Trump’s allegiance is not to this country. He is just for himself.

Careful, @Tweety, I've said things on here like "I'm a left-leaning moderate" (which I am), but then I say things against Trump or the GOP and I'm effectively labeled as a socialist hippie foraging for the destruction of the human race. Politics are weird (and I have a BA in Political Science).

You are so right about it and I know it does not make you feel good that ppl argue with you and accuse you wrongly when your specialty is political science just like my degree is in mathematics and some ppl argue with me about numbers and tell me I am not good in math like someone here did so I wear your shoes is my point in this paragraph.

My next point is all because I wanted Hilary’s opponent in the convention to win and I disagreed with the Super Delegate concept and here they never had Super Delegates before, anyways all because of my views on the Democratic convention, some ppl accused me of being a socialist. All it was is the fact I did not want it narrowed down to Hilary and Trump.

Like you stated politics are weird.

Agreed. That was the nightmare ticket and it came to fruition.

I wanted the GOP to come to their senses and nominate John Kasich as the candidate for president. I would have voted for Kasich over Hilary in a heartbeat.

As far as conspiracy theories go... I still think there's some smoke to the theory that Hilary asked Trump to run initially to knock out the bigger threats. Then, when Trump saw he could win, he broke from their deal.
