Wait. I thought America was divided up into 5 countries? But it still falls behind the mask of The United States Of America?
Yes, they also still have 52 (?) stars on their flag, just like they have today. [/b][/quote]

Roman,
do you remember something called "Peak Oil" in your past? Do you remember if this had something to do with the wars and if it hitted economy in, say, 2008-2010?

lol Jovial,

Hello 2004, I am from 2035

Roman,

I often read the John Titor dialogues and am frustrated that people spent so much time on games and lottery numbers. You are the first traveller, in my humble opinion, since the Titor event, who seems worth my talking with. You are either,

1. A time traveller from 2035

or

2. A rather nice fellow who, although playing a trick, seems worth talking with--at least for an interesting perspective on life and living.

So, regardless of whether you are 1 or 2, I hope you will answer the following questions for me:

1) If you were to choose only one overall emotion that guides your life, that gets you out of bed in the morning, that seems to rule all the other thoughts and emotions, which of the following would you choose (honestly): shame, anxiety, or anger?

2) What do you enjoy most about 2004 and what do you enjoy most about 2035?

3) My favorite British authors are Milton, Hardy, and Boswell. Have you or your friends read them? And if so, what is their readership like in 2035?

I thank you in advance, my friend.

August

Wow. ?That is a huge number. ?150 million Americans, thats actually pretty small...considering 3 billion died. ?

Is there an estimation on how many died in the American Civil War?
I guess if you consider that the US has nearly 300 million people, and there's 6 billion people in the world, it's a 50/50 split.

What error are you getting when you try to access the chatroom?
It slows up my computer considerably and also crashes it on some occasions.

I am not familiar with the term 'Peak Oil' but yes, oil is very important in 2035 and is also running out quickly. I am aware of the conflicts it has caused in the past but in 2035 we are using our energies into developing ways in either renewing oil or working on a new energy source rather than fighting over it.

What's south, central, America and Africa like? Also, who rules Cuba after Castro is gone? In what month do we see the signs of something "not right" about the US? I'm pretty sure it could be this summer, or just before the elections.
