What do you think about the possibility to look through an enormous roundebout way to our earth.

Suppose we have a advanced telescope wich we place on another star and from there we watch the earth, but to recieve any images from earth we are thousands years further? Would we see the past?
I believe so....

Yes that is correct. What i wonder is if the telescope sees it as less of a past than the naked eye. What if it could see objects or beings and is that still the distant past? If the telescope saw a being moving about would that be happening in the past or would it be a current movement? Does the light reflected off our bodies travel through space?

There's not even a telescope that can see the stuff astronauts left on the moon. I wonder if they really went there too. Convenient perhaps that a telescope still can't verify.

Hmmm that is interesting. I get a bit caught up in conspiracies too easily. But no flat earth theories for me. So why not make a more powerful telescope to date?
