it's not a pulse. It's an impulse current.
impulses don't have wavelengths.

like an explosion doesn't have a wavelength
just boom
quick spike up, quick down spike.

well depends on the cap.
super high voltage, low series resistance yeah.
trick is you need a bunch of them in succession.
why you need what's called an impulse current generator. It's a specific equipment

this is why the electromagnet only has 3 turns.
more turns, slower the capacitor discharges through it.

it's not dimension specific.
will work with most electromagnet diameters, he used I think a dozen if not more electromagnets
