Thanks for the advice there Chip, I'll seriously consider it.
What kind of reaction do you get in US ?
Again, I will say that I don't see clues of the total collapse to come. I know they are hidding all that stuff from us, sheeps. I know US are in a big crap, but can't they improve their situation, and get back to normal ?
I know I'm always asking the same questions in this thread, but I just don't get it. They don't talk about it on TV (ok), gaz and food prices (ok), these are some clues of the problems, but are those problems soooooo big that the only possible outcome is a total collapse of the world's economy ?

Being the "most powerful country in the world" comes at a cost. Americans are spoiled rotten and live in a self deluded myopia. For some it seems like utopia, for others its pure hell. But, before I digress I'll make my point; Power calls out to the weak minded like the voice of God. They hear it and they respond. Some become drunks that beat their children. Some choose law enforcement to gain that power. Some of these mental weaklings were born into wealthy families. Having the power to ruin lives at an early age earns these few a special characteristic, the hunger for more power. The USA is currently controlled by such people. No consideration for anything, anyone, anywhere. They have the same disease as the rest of the US population. But, with one exception; they have the power of the bomb to wield. Their friends and family fear them and therefore never tell them the truth. Their subordinates naturally fear for their livelihood and cannot tell them the truth. These people never hear the truth. They make it up as they go. They are as confused and lost as the rest of the country. They get angry just like everyone else. But, they have the power to destroy an entire nation on a whim. To these people life is a matter of attempting to manipulate circumstances in order to justify their perspective and their actions. They move mountains to deceive others into following their lead. In their eyes they do no wrong. In their mind they are ordained by God to be where they are. In truth they manipulated their way straight to the top. But, to them it's destiny! The current state of manipulation is in its forming stage. The wind is blowing in the direction of meltdown to cause fear. Fear of starvation, fear of attack, fear of disease. Fear. Fear. Fear. To whom shall we turn? The "powers that be" surmise we will turn to them for help when these terrible events occur. The farce of it all is the beauty of their art. Like a dog around the sheep the media outlets cause the herd to scurry this way or that way. And this ‘my friends’ is exactly why you can't see it coming. It's a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It’s the lightning in the east flashing in the west. It's the great deception powerful enough to deceive the most cunning...Numenorean7 said:

Well I think that if thats the case then I will take plan B.
I dont want to be one of the people having to rely on trading gold for what I need.. I would rather just grow or shoot my food. I know I will need "things"...but I would be willing to trade meat or produce or water for that. Those are the things I can do or get. Money is not in my list of stuff that would help me as I dont have any money or gold now or in the near future ...well not enought to help me out should the sh*t hit the fan....
But I can hunt/fish and grow food..sew and all that stuff you do out here in the woods!

. if you have not made ready for a total collaps over nite, you will most likely be FUBAR.
if it happens slow no one/or very few, will go to the camps/refugee centers for food and water. you gotta start a stampeed befor you can run the buffalows off a cliff. the sheep gotta be scared shitless for the plans to work.
