KC, you look like someone with a pretty good plan.
You seem ready for the time TSHTF.
I think I would put guns at #3 instead of #1. It depends of the level of mass chaos you're in.

well I do think I can stay alive for a while without any modern stuff.
but as almost always it is thought you will need weapons to defend against gangs and such WRONG,NOT,
we won't have to worrie bout them. they are not smart enough to last more than a month at best.
in the first 2-3 wks 25-30% of the sheep will die by there own hand. drinkin bad water,spoilled food, sickness, will be ramped from mo-skeet-o bites, fleas, ticks, and the like. the most dangerious threat will be the family pets without food, and wild preditors,wolves, bear's large cats from the zoo's all these will have no fear of man and will hunt us for food. just like they use to in the wild. no john wayne gun fights in the streets.
we had all best keep that in the front of our heads. after the lion roars is to late to remember, hey they eat people:eek:

Again, I'll ask for the 100th time, do you seriously think it could get that bad in US, and even in Canada ?

I'm always asking this question, I can't imagine how it could become that bad.

I guess people are gonna flee from the cities. We'll need to be careful with new people coming around.

I think the prophecy says somethin like
when they flee from the city a bear will meet them:eek: there are others where it talks of the beast of the fields killing man in the last days.

Thats prolly why kc has guns at the top of his list.
Like it or not women out by themselves would need at least one man around because like it or not women will need that kind of protection.
Well this is all about what happens when TSHTF......so....prolly wont happen but everyone should be prepared at least. In some way.

when it gets to that point. guns are and always will be a last resort. they make way to much noise. infact I would not use them if there is the slightest chance you can get away. only when trapped and death is a given. then only use them to hold off the prob. so the rest of your party can get away alive. stealth is your best hope, they won't come for you. if they don't know you are there. best keep that in mind, if you should decide it is time to shoot at somethin, never more than one shot,or every one will know where you are. when the lites go off there will not be any noise except what you make. same with all them fancy generators. you can hear them thumpin for miles. same with camp fires, can be seen and smelled for miles.I hate to have to think about this shit. it will be a bad day at black rock. and most folks don't have a clue what will happen, or how to stay alive in the most adverse conditions. I will try to help as many as I can find, but I fear most won't make it to where I will be. they will get trapped inside the citys. I can't help them there:(

Yeah, you better stay quiet in those situations.
Those who think they are strong and important will be in trouble sooner than they think.
Hopefuly, it's not gonna be that bad in small towns. I mean, not immediately.
