World Wide Internet Disruption Caused By A Cyber Security Glitch

Next question:

What anti-virus do you guys recommend if Kasperksy stops?
The free version of Avast is okay if you don't mind the ads. Blocking scripts in browsers and e-mail clients and running things in virtual machines is however much more effective at not getting virus in the first place, because anti-virus is becomming obsolete from self-mutating malware. If a virtual machine gets ransomware, just undo the changes and everything is back.

Nope. Had viruses with that. Kaspersky was the only software that could remove a nasty virus I had years ago and it prevented them ever since. Also, Kaspersky didn’t affect my system performance.

My cousin also just said he's going to bring this up at a meeting and getting this checked out, because nobody should be installing software on our PC's without our permission. (Well, we know the government does....).

Understand why this happened before blaming Kaspersky

This comes after the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned twelve Kaspersky Lab executives on June 21 for operating in Russia's technology sector, freezing their U.S. assets and preventing access to them until the sanctions are lifted.

The Department of Commerce also designated AO Kaspersky Lab, OOO Kaspersky Group (Russia), and Kaspersky Labs Limited (United Kingdom) to its Entity List, preventing any U.S. business from conducting business with them.

Hence its shutdown its USA Business what do you expect them to do?
