Another Inside the HDR Thread: Dissecting my HDR

HDR Time Coils (aka: Head Coils):

Constructed from:
7 feet of brown household 2 wire cord (that whole "7" thing)
21.5 inches of Mono 1/4" coiled Guitar/Amp Patch/Cable/Cord/Wire Right Angle/Elbow,6.3mm
2 banana plugs
A lot of tape

Steve would get complaints when wires would pull out of plugs, time coils, etc.;
so he had a tendency to over tape and solder things.

He had tried some phone coils in development, but the wires were too thin.
On soldering to the guitar cable, he would solder both wires to one of the lead cords.

I would order Steve 25 foot cables from Ebay and he would get 14 coils out of each.

whats the resistance of the time coils of gibbs hdr unit anyhow

whats the resistance of the time coils of gibbs hdr unit anyhow
$ A point for linearity here and this is, did Gibbs somehow head of time know that this device when used in an average user's way, would split the soul from the body, or where his calculations just made by chance?
One can modify an HDR to take the entire person, plus an object, say a car, with Tesla Coil use to another time, but how by chance did Gibbs know that it would sperate the soul from the body?

The HDR Diodes:

6 each: 50V 6A axial rectifier blocking diodes arranged in a circle and leads coming off in different voltage (?) configurations.

One lead goes to the Time Coil, another lead goes to the Electromagnet, and another lead goes to the top potentiometer's middle post.

(luckily these diodes are used in solar panel systems and are readily available on Ebay)

No disrepect to you @Doc 05 but consider my simple point regarding what a "REAL" Time Machine would look like built by highly professional people using thousands of extremely high quality parts..

Personally, i do not believe that something cobbled together using 3 cheap potentiometers, a few diodes, an electrolytic capacitor plus a lump of metal used as an electro-magnet, could "accurately and safely" physically transport you to a place in the past or forwards in time and then return you safely...An analogy would be putting people into a flimsy little boat and letting them try to cross the Atlantic Ocean..

Yes of course everybody has the right to their own opinions and their personal beliefs, as for myself i believe in pragmatism, and will always warn people against purchasing anything that "looks and sounds too good to be true"...
