We cannot. I hope you don't believe that I was advocating that view.

I was trying to clarify. I will try to use English for this.

I'm not too sure if you talked about respect in general when you talked about distance, but I talked about honoring our ancestors by experiencing their difficulties as closely as possible. So I got confused.

I see. I believe there was some confusion on my part as well.

If I may ask, why post in Hebrew when your English is better than mine?

(I'm undermining my own thread by going off-topic, but who cares?)

Back to business...

Why, all of the sudden, are we being encouraged by the press to eat insects?

One person says that the press wants us to get back to nature. Another maintains that it is an elitist plot to preserve nature by destroying farms and to make us consume inferior (?) protein.

And, as usual, I have no clue.

Anyone else?

No, I do not think everyone will “go bugs”. I do think that the press seems to be working overtime – and in concert – to promote the idea. What I do not know is why they are doing so.
Maybe it’s a way to desensitize us so that we have no problem fighting, killing & then eating an insectoid alien race that is going to reveal itself in mass on Earth to really help save us from the bondage that the Grey race(s) of aliens have us in through their deals made with our world leaders. The Greys could then can keep abducting & farming us for bodily secretions that they need to survive.
