Where ya from, dude? I don't get into the "my country is better than yours" arguments much. I'm from the US, which, like most countries, has its good and bad points. I don't approve of our current "leadership", but I believe all things are fixable with sufficient and consistent effort.
I'm from earth, and I dislike those arguments too. If you want specifics, I'm from the UK, but I think people need to stop dividing things by "British" and "American" and start thinking in terms of "human". (And even further if aliens actually exist) It's easier than ever with the advent of the internet.
As a sidenote, I would say the current leadership is the lesser of two evils, but then "The only winning move is not to play". A move away from the two and three party systems is needed to something that allows more choice. (Along with better education so people make less stupid choices)
I...what...Have you been smoking something? I'm saying cultural diversity is a good thing. Take the UK for example. It's a melting pot of different cultures, but for the most part people see each other as "British" despite their differences. It's only really the newest cultures here that are seen as different, moreso the further you get from London, but as time goes on they get more integrated. (The anti-muslim sentiment right now is a good example of that, especially with "suicide bombers" being the new buzzword to replace the IRA. Nobody thinks the Irish as a whole are terrorists the way people see Muslims)You're not a fan of cultural diversity? Do you support the New World Order? So therefore with your logic, instead of us being divided by different countries and culture names, you want everyone including the two of us to share one singular name? That would require you to be handed all of our problems, and the problems of everyone else and vice versa. Good luck saving our hundred trillion dollar debt!
The best way to respect cultures is to keep them separate and unique. If I ever went to the UK, I'd be pretty unpleasantly surprised if it was identical to the US. Melting pots are overrated, and the real reason for it is it benefits big business. Russia is getting rid of their McDonald's, and I think they'll be better off once they do.I...what...Have you been smoking something? I'm saying cultural diversity is a good thing. I'd like to see integration like that, but on a global scale. Different cultures should be celebrated, not discrimated against. It's happening, but very slowly.

This is perhaps the best use of this image I've ever seen.
This is in reference to the "time traveler" in this thread and not my post, right?
