The greatest danger we may be facing could be that both houses of congress come under the control of the republicans.

That would force Obama to go to plan "B" where he starts to use his pen and phone to make laws that bypass the congress.

That would force the congress to respond with a counter action of impeachment.

That may cause the start of a race war that could lead to people shooting back as it happen with Travon Marti

Now for economics:

With the BRICK nations talking about dropping the US dollar as the world reserve currency, that would cause a flood of dollars coming back into our country having a hyper inflation effect on our already crippled economy. Are not most wars started over economics?

EBOLA:

The newest and scariest word in the English language may soon become the greatest killer of the 21st century.

By this Fall when the kids return back from Summer vacation from many places around the country and the world, they could share much more then just the stories of the fun they had... Like a very nasty bug!

Wrong. The 5th planet's destruction was not due to a singular god, it was due to mishap in circumstance.
It was either a Cold War situation turned sour, finding destruction from atomic warfare and then causing the great flood on our humble abode, or from a rogue solar body collision/interaction, or both. If it was Jehovah's doing, it simply would've disappeared completely.

If you think the Fukushima situation is bad, consider the fact that the United States is vulnerable to the exact same meltdown situation, except at 124 separate nuclear reactors throughout the country. If anything should happen to our nation's poorly protected electric power grid, these reactors have a high likelihood of failure, say experts, a catastrophic scenario that would most likely lead to the destruction of all life on our planet, including humans.
Though they obviously generate power themselves, nuclear power plants also rely on an extensive system of power backups that ensure the constant flow of cooling water to reactor cores. In the event of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP), for instance, diesel-powered backup generators are designed to immediately engage, ensuring that fuel rods and reactor cores don't overheat and melt, causing unmitigated destruction.
But most of these generators were only designed to operate for a maximum period of about 24 hours or less, meaning they are exceptionally temporary in nature. In a real emergency situation, such as one that might be caused by a systematic attack on the power grid, it could take days or even weeks to bring control systems back online. At this point, all those backup generators would have already run out of fuel, leaving nuclear reactors everywhere prone to meltdowns.
Cost to retrofit power grid minimal, but government won't do it
According to Dave Hodges from The Common Sense Show, it would only cost taxpayers about $2 billion to update the power grid and protect it from attack or shutdown. This is roughly the same price as a single B-1 Stealth Bomber, or the annual sum that the government pays American farmers not to grow crops.
In other words, it is a mere drop in the bucket compared to everything else the government spends money on. And yet nothing is being done to protect the power grid against failure or, worse yet, an attack by domestic or foreign enemies. Investment guru Paul Singer warned about this, noting that an electromagnetic surge is the "most significant danger" facing the world today.
"Even horrendous nuclear war, except in its most extreme form, can [be] a relatively localized issue," said Singer, "and the threat from asteroids can (possibly) be mitigated."
Spent fuel racks contain radiation that won't be contained during an emergency
In the event of a disaster or loss of power, a nuclear plant's emergency power systems are designed to automatically engage, while its control rods are dropped into the core. Water is then pumped into the reactor to mitigate excess heat, in turn preventing a meltdown. And just to be sure, spent fuel rods are encased in both a primary and secondary containment structure, aiding in meltdown prevention.
But if the emergency results in longer-term power losses, and backup generators run out of power, this constant flow of cooling water will eventually run dry. This is what happened at Fukushima, resulting in several reactor cores melting right through their containment structures into the ground. There is also the issue of residual spent fuel, which is normally contained in high-density storage racks that are not taken into account during an emergency.
"...contained in buildings that vent directly into the atmosphere, radiation containment is not accounted for with regard to the spent fuel racks," explained Hodges. "In other words, there is no capture mechanism."
Like many others, Hodges wants to know why the government refuses to take this important situation more seriously. Again, it wouldn't cost that much in the greater scheme of things to bring the power grid up to proper safety standards, protecting Americans and their infrastructure from a possible cascade of nuclear meltdowns. So why isn't it happening?

They would be mankinds’ key to survival, they were the "Warriors of the Rainbow". The Warriors of the Rainbow would teach the people of the ancient practices of Unity, Love and Understanding. They would teach of Harmony among people in all four comers of the Earth.

Like the Ancient Tribes, they would teach the peoples how to pray to the Great Spirit with love that flows like the beautiful mountain stream, and flows along the path to the ocean of life. Once again, they would be able to feel joy in solitude and in councils. They would be free of petty jealousies and love all mankind as their brothers, regardless of color, race or religion. They would feel happiness enter their hearts, and become as one with the entire human race. Their hearts would be pure and radiate warmth, understanding and respect for all mankind, Nature, and the Great Spirit. They would once again fill their minds, hearts, souls, and deeds with the purest of thoughts. They would seek the beauty of the Master of Life - the Great Spirit! They would find strength and beauty in prayer and the solitudes of life.

Their children would once again be able to run free and enjoy the treasures of Nature and Mother Earth. Free from the fears of toxins and destruction, wrought by the Yo-ne-gi and his practices of greed. The rivers would again run clear, the forests be abundant and beautiful, the animals and birds would be replenished. The powers of the plants and animals would again be respected and conservation of all that is beautiful would become a way of life.

The poor, sick and needy would be cared for by their brothers and sisters of the Earth. These practices would again become a part of their daily lives.

The leaders of the people would be chosen in the old way - not by their political party, or who could speak the loudest, boast the most, or by name calling or mud slinging, but by those whose actions spoke the loudest. Those who demonstrated their love, wisdom, and courage and those who showed that they could and did work for the good of all, would be chosen as the leaders or Chiefs. They would be chosen by their "quality" and not the amount of money they had obtained. Like the thoughtful and devoted "Ancient Chiefs", they would understand the people with love, and see that their young were educated with the love and wisdom of their surroundings. They would show them that miracles can be accomplished to heal this world of its ills, and restore it to health and beauty.

The tasks of these "Warriors of the Rainbow" are many and great. There will be terrifying mountains of ignorance to conquer and they shall find prejudice and hatred. They must be dedicated, unwavering in their strength, and strong of heart. They will find willing hearts and minds that will follow them on this road of returning "Mother Earth" to beauty and plenty - once more.

The day will come, it is not far away. The day that we shall see how we owe our very existence to the people of all tribes that have maintained their culture and heritage. Those that have kept the rituals, stories, legends, and myths alive. It will be with this knowledge, the knowledge that they have preserved, that we shall once again return to "harmony" with Nature, Mother Earth, and mankind. It will be with this knowledge that we shall find our "Key to our Survival".

This is the story of the "Warriors of the Rainbow" and this is my reason for protecting the culture, heritage, and knowledge of my ancestors. I know that the day "Eyes of Fire" spoke of - will come! I want my children and grandchildren to be prepared to accept this task.The task of being one of the........"Warriors of the Rainbow".

I'll offer a few relevant, testable predictions for late 2014 to 2015. I'm not claiming to be a time traveler.

The conflict in Ukraine will lead to a boycott of Russia's natural gas, with American gas going oversea to the EU. Russia will occupy a northeastern crescent of Ukraine and this will be a sore point.

Meanwhile, the US economy will generally do well and run into inflation, which will drive up stock prices but not so much gold because parked cash will be rushed to invest (fueling inflation and stocks' rise). The Russian economy (since I just mentioned Russia) will falter and this will have social consequences. There has been some strategy to this and surprisingly not many people see that. The goal is to economically and politically isolate Russia by baiting them into looking aggressive, volatile, and unpredictable. I anticipate a more serious military confrontation involving the US though impacting Ukraine and Poland more. Denmark and Canada may also have some issues with Russia, and in related news we'll see Exxon defying the US government more than they already have (by continuing to partner with Russia) and receiving some public consequences for this.

Zooming out to a broader prediction, we're nearing a time when 3 important social trends will take place in America. These will be more apparent and will be subjects of discussion in 2015 and will become more tangible by 2016.

First, younger generations will increasingly break from the previous and form a conscious collective resentment, blaming previous generations for economic burdens in the past. This clash will determine important currents of society as did Civil Rights and the Vietnam War. This will also tend to break up the Left vs. Right movement as each side breaks along age lines.

Second, improving technology will increasingly lower a lot of human labor value, depressing how much consumers will give to those who are trying to earn money. This also makes it easier for a large corporation to accrue compounding wealth. The response will be a broader move toward a more socialist society. I don't say this in a negative nor positive way. It will help a lot of people, though it will also commit many Americans to pay for things practically beyond our control (as we already do for our military).

Third, eventually the financial impact of Baby Boomers' aging will catch up and will weigh on the stock market in an important way, exacerbating the first point above but somewhat easing the second by raising demand for human labor. A sort of vote war will occur along the new partisan lines (the age line). The old will cater to the poor but eventually as the old die off the balance will shift to the young, who will include people in their 40s.

Lastly, the Tea Party movement won't survive in its current form. Rather it will become first a fusion of "Constitutionalists", hackers, "DIYers" (i.e., people who like making and building things, from tech to composting) and several rich individuals who share a more Libertarian stance. Laws will be simplified and reduced. The "lower class" will increasingly be recognizable as those who can't manage their attention (addicted to mobile devices and short-term gratification entertainment), their diet, and their time.
