Surely that Chinese doctor had many many more of his medical books printed, and are available to purchase?
In ancient times, doctors' books were handwritten medical books. These cases contain the ideas and methods of doctors to treat diseases. And write it on paper. It doesn't exist if it burns.

Steven Gibbs house is for sale.
Looks kinda strange. He passed away in Dec and from what it looks, his sister did visit him. The front of the house looks like no one has lived here for a long time. Unless the overgrowth was intentional may be because he wanted it that way and had no social life?

I hope his sister has already removed all his books, papers and HDRs.

It is his family's responsibility to protect the equipment, books and house that Mr. Steven Gibbs used to study time travel. so that future generations can inherit his career. Why sell? There used to be a magical doctor in China who could treat many people's diseases, but he died. His family burned the medical books he wrote so no one knew about his miraculous medical techniques.
In Chinese culture, "sometimes" they keep their methods secret and if they die without an heir; their knowledge dies with them. I think the source of that statement was Alex Chiu on the I Ching (but I'd have to check.) He also explained the reason the Hebrew Urim and Thummim disappeared and the I Ching is still here is that China valued their prophets and didn't have witch hunts, so there's plusses and minuses (and of course, Stephen was not Chinese; only speaking of knowledge that gets lost and what is preserved.)

One would hope that knowledge would be preserved, I'd imagine a fan could buy his house and get the book collection included; as just because someone is a relative doesn't mean they want to carry on his legacy (then again, maybe they do.) It would also be cool if they auctioned his devices to fans, maybe add the condition that if there is an exhibit they agree to loan them back for a period of time. Another option would be to make sure there is a permanent free pdf of all of his books online unless his heirs see his book sales as worth their time, then selling new prints of the books. I'd hate for the knowledge to disappear, a lot of books have gotten hard to find (I wish someone saved the entire IGAS catalog (where I first heard of Mr Gibbs.)

If anyone is interested, there are 16 books available that Gibbs wrote with a combined total of 7 readers that gave an average rating of 3.47 out of 5 for those books...Check them out for yourself

Patricia Ress was also included in one of Gibbs books who wrote a "forward" in one of them where she stated the HDR was a scaled down version of the Philadelphia Experiment, when a "Battleship" went through time and Space :ROFLMAO:

Actually, it was allegedly a Destroyer Escort ship named the Eldridge and NOT a Battleship that went through time and space...So much for the extensive research ability of Patricia Ress...Iam certain you will find even more "interesting" stuff in Gibbs other books :fp:

There are also lots of circuit diagrams on the internet for the HDR starting from Gibbs early designs to those that include the electro-magnet..

It would be awesome to get our hands on all of his research, in order to preserve and save it. I don't see how that could happen, though.

Only way would be if someone was able to get in touch and do it with Gibb's sister directly. Sadly, all those things will probably just vanish.

@therealbenferrari there was a story that Gibbs went back to 1976 to get a copy of the I Ching, he only realised when he was signing the cheque and the year was different.

I think it was in stranger magazine.
He had mentioned this in a few interviews most notably when he appeared on C2C AM with Patricia Ress. He did mention that it was not "time travel" done by him but rather a time slip that just happened, which he realized when they saw the old cars and when the bookstore cashier crossed off the date on the check and wrote 1976. I also believe that his family would have removed all personal effects before listing the house.

Thanks @FarOutThere a missing piece of the puzzle. Looks like the estate went into probate (1 year) then transferred to Ken Doyle with a tax lien of $ 458.65 (8% of appraised value plus filing fee)
