Cobra CB radio for contact

@titorite - I could also have my antenna put on my roof, though I'll need to get in touch with a construction contractor for that. I'll be willing to at least help pay with my own money; I'd just have to clear it with my dad.

@Einstein - So you're saying my fears that there would be interference from the vibration are verified?

It's not the vibration. The antenna is very close to an electric motor. That motor uses a high alternating current. Grounding the air conditioner enclosure might help. But the best solution is to just position the antenna in another location.

@Mayhem - Yeah, maybe I misunderstood that post, whatever and wherever it was. So I guess I'll have to tell my dad we have to make an arrangement to have the antenna installed somewhere on the roof. After all, I haven't noticed anything major in relation to aliens/UFOs anytime soon after using my CB radio. :)

Edit: P.S. - @Einstein - I'd like to thank you again, this time for pointing out the issue with the antenna being so close to the motor. My dad and I didn't even think of that! :)

That was one of my concerns as well. But im not sure if a window unit has a dynamo inside. I do know it probly has a bridge rectifier in it and some small transformers.

If things cant be moved grounding is definitely a good idea.

You have to of already spent alot time studying their efforts and ways they try to communicate with is.

Like the arecbo message. And other crop glyphs. Have you tried making your own crop glyphs? Like in tall grass or any local fields of vegetation?
 
@titorite - You never know, I may try those suggestions somewhere down the line. But for now, I think I'll stick with my CB. @TimeFlipper and I find it plausible, and besides, I think a lot of these beings are intelligent enough to decipher English, especially when assuming they've already done warp speed and time travel to the past.

And don't worry TF, when I'm more comfortable with my CB, I'll try other methods too, such as musical notes in sequence and Morse code, if it ever comes down to that.
 
I agree with Einstein, there could be some electrical interference that would affect both your transmission and reception, however i dont think any UFO occupants would concern themselves about that.....The important thing is making certain that what ever you transmit, is significant enough to ensure the UFO occupants contact you :alien:..
