In the US there are no regulations

Incorrect. The FCC regulates CB radios in the United States.

It's right in the rules that they are short-range radios.

Rule 1 Description
The Citizens Band Radio Service (CB) is a private, two-way, short-distance voice communications service for personal or business activities.

Rule 8 Antenna Height

{A} "Antenna" means the radiating system (for transmitting, receiving or both) and the structure holding it up (tower, pole or mast). It also means everything else attached to the radiating system and the structure.
{B} If your antenna is mounted on a hand-held portable unit, none of the following limitations apply;
{C} If your antenna is installed at a fixed location (whether receiving, transmitting or both) it must comply with EITHER one of the following:
[1] The highest point must not be more than 20 feet (6.10 meters) higher than the highest point of the building or tree on which it is mounted;
or
[2] The highest point must not be more than 60 feet (18.3 meters) above the ground.

Rule 10 Power Output

{A} Your CB station transmitter power output must not exceed the following values under any conditions:
AM [Amplitude Modulation] - 4 watts carrier power [CP]
SSB [Single Side-Band] - 12 watts peak envelope power [PEP]

Im just trying to help out @Classicalfan626.

Aliens would be laughing at radio signals either Morse code or repeated signals.

They have only specific interests on this planet.

Im sure @TimeFlipper your familiar with the signals sent to try and contact , just the other day it was back in the highlight.

My old friend, you simply cannot try to speak for Aliens and "assume" how they will respond to anything...Many times on here you try and "answer" for our members by assuming that YOU know better than what they do, and i always remind you about that...Num7 remarked to you recently that you should think, "why NOT should anything happen, instead of saying, why SHOULD anything happen"......You clearly expose your lack of basic thinking about the "opposites" of what can happen, which restricts any creative thoughts, but i like you anyways, you always have that rare ability to amuse me consistently (y):LOL:...

We all have the right to express our opinion.

I will do this where and when i see fit.

Lets hope we actually find out what our member's intention is for contacting but over the course of his 3 threads on this subject, he has failed to reveal.

With some more information maybe another could lend a hand and one day we might see and hear the ET's have made contact.

Rule 1 only generalises about "short distance" due to the low power output, and nothing about any specialised attenuation that is purposely placed into CB radios that you stated.....The reason for saying the power output must not exceed 4 watts, is intended to prevent the use of high powered RF amplifiers, colloquially called "Burners"......All CB sets have traditionally been low powered, uncomplicated and cheap to build....One of the main reasons for using low power regards electrical safety knowledge that the general public is mostly unaware of.....Handheld CB sets with internal batteries (rechargeable or not) were first considered until the cost of producing those handheld CB sets was revealed....

Of course Paranormalis members have the right to express their own opinions, but when you try to start answering on "behalf of other members", yours truly, the errant TimeFlipper will be there, trying to educate you into letting members answer, for "themselves" ;) :D..

@Classicalfan626

Please inform the reason why you want to contact aliens?

I know of at least 2 occasions where ClassicalFan has given us the reasons as to why he wants to contact Aliens, and frankly it appears to me from the insistence on why he should reply to you, that you are purposely harassing him in the hope that YOU get the opportunity to try and make him appear to be a fool.....Bad attitude for a Paranormalis member my old friend, imho :( (n)..

There are instances where he has eluded to the reasons but never has given a complete clear answer to the question.

It may be more useful in his endeavours to reveal the whole plan.

I would very much like him to accomplish the contact, as it would be very interesting to see how it came about and whether communication was ongoing or just one contact.

Would it be useful to construct a new email to contact Steven Greer, with the minds and members of this forum to aid the intentions?

If ClassicalFan has eluded into not answering you, then that is his right....The more you try and make your point, the more i believe the only reason is that you are now obsessionally attempting to discredit ClassicalFan, is because of your own personal dislike of him, and that is sheer childish harassment!(n)..
