The person he wanted to store it thought he wanted the storage area for something drug-related. You all seem to be forgetting one important question in all of this. What can any of us do to avoid the major impact of what this person is seeing? In all seriousness, I was going to ask if the nurse knew he was messing with the computers, but honestly, it doesn't matter if he is a time traveler or a psychic or alien. The world is on the edge of a mess and it is obvious something big is about to happen. No empire has made it more that a hundred years or so without some kind of revolution. The United states and a few other countries are really due for some in house cleaning being as the human powers that be have grown too big for their britches.

I'm sure Minnesota played a role. I can't say that I heard anything about it specifically.
The revolution's strength was in our convictions. We had an idea, and while that idea varied, we knew that you can't simply kill an idea. Over time, you can distort the language to make it impossible for you to think the idea and only when everyone is subjugated to that can an idea be considered dead and even still the idea exists in a metaphysical sense. We also had more people on our side actually fighting. Even out of those not fighting, there will plenty of neutrals willing to help us with medicine or food. Weaknesses included the lack of good public relations. We lost because we lost to propaganda. As I've said before, the Chicago nuke was the ultimate propaganda and it lead to our defeat. We also lacked a good air force and navy, both of which made things very difficult.
I would suggest trying to make sure that you are protected from aircraft, including drones. Anywhere near the coast is an extremely dangerous place to be.

I've been here in this timeline for a while. I have been spending part of my time learning about the time period. The civil war seemed like a good place to start, because I don't want to get stuck in that conflict.

Causality is a problem, but we hope to have resolved it. Firstly, you should first note that a mechanism for perserving causality has never been found in nature. It is a logical construct found only in the mathematics. When you mathematically describe an event that contains a paradox, the apparent paradox can be resolved by adding more variables. In time travel, there are an innumerable amount of variables, so minor actions should be outweighed by the storm of surrounding variables, thus preventing a paradox from actually occurring. Consider this famous example: A time traveler travels back in time to shoot and kill himself before he time travels. That is a paradox because it prevents him from going back in time to kill himself. However, lets say that the will be time traveler is revived at the emergency room later or that the shot missed and only maimed him. In this case causality would not be violated, but the past would have still been altered. In a similar way, I should be able to go back and change quite a bit, but as long as my actions do not change three specific things I won't violate causality. Those three things are as follows; I can't deny my own existence, I can't deny the existence of the time machine, and I can't deny need or motivation for my travel.

No. As I have stated before the device will come out in roughly six months. The technology behind it is what is significant. That technology was first proposed in the seventies and they were able to create it at a molecular level in 2008. It will be a relatively unnoticed switch, but it is the probably the greatest change in the industry over the last 50 years. The very foundations of computing will be overwritten. For Michigan, I will say that the way it wedged by Canada will be to its benefit. The way it is situated near Chicago will cause Michigan to be hit hard by cleaning and rescue teams. Yes, that might not sound bad, but the defenses are broken.

The major routes into Florida are closed off. Macon, Savannah, and Mobile. Savannah was unsupported and fell. If you were in the revolution and in Florida, you would probably be headed to those three places or raiding transports there. Guerrilla tactics like in most places, but higher risk.

Please, no one ask for their individual states or localities anymore. I probably don't know as much about them as you might like. I also don't really care to try to search my brains for small bits of information that can be widely misinterpreted.

Hi Aevi Vegr it's Frog I just wanted to say sorry for not talking with you in general I have been busy recently anyways I believe that your not making things up at all I usually talk with others who in this forum and others in other forums who have astral travel and used remote viewing and etc my belief is your not lieing because I believe in other's experiences I have had time experiences myself when I was a teenager as for astral travel and time travel and time machines I believe in those as well but if your from 2043 then you come from a parallel timeline and not our timeline because of now our further future hasn't happened just yet I am still trying to buy a time machine so I can see and hear the near and further future even though the past is over with and not including yourself sorry about that in general and in private I have three important questions what do people of the past and future think of us here in the present since you time traveled? also when will world war 3 happen for us in this timeline? one last question have you seen jesus or god in the further future in general and in private these questions is to test your skills that's all and not to be mean or rude to you in any way I am religious too but I haven't been to church in a long time but I still believe though!

I would call the U.S. government bureaucratic. It functions as an oligarchy beneath the Oligarchy. They still have some elections, but they are already preset. It has five regions in mainland America that each have their own representative in the oligarch. The people aren't elected, they are nominated into position by the elected region presidents. The region presidents are similar to the present day president. The states still exist in an altered form. The changes were supposedly made in "an attempt to make a compromise with the revolutionaries." They claim that only the extremists didn't accept the compromise. I have oversimplified the process of how it came to be, but that is my basic understanding.
Notable names include the Paul, Roshal, Bernanke, Berezovsky, Wirnhier, that's a small list.

I'm not a climate expert, but I would say that I think it rains more here.
Legal system? Nice joke. Actually, the legal system is similar to the current U.S. Justice system, but it is rigged an you don't have a right to a jury. Yes, there is a death penalty, but it is more unofficial. They don't make martyrs.
There is a lot of classified technologies, including anti-ICBM technologies.
Disease is almost nonexistent. I say that because diseased people are often killed if they can't be cured. Surgery is far more safe and you can be revived several days after death if proper procedures are taken.
