  • Got antidepressants prescribed by my doctor today and reading about all the potential side effects. If detecting any of them, I am supposed to contact my doctor, but I already have pretty much all of them before taking the first pill, such as memory loss, confusion, tiredness, fainting, high heart rate, sleep problems, speech impairment, muscle pain, secreting smelly hormones, diarreah, vomiting, headache, shaking, indigestion, rashes, back pains, dizziness, et cetera. The remaining side effects can only be detected using blood samples or are related to milk production.

One of the pills the docs put me on was supposed to treat depression, but it gave it to me really bad. Same thing with a restless leg syndrome pill. Doc gave me a real funny look with that one. Needless to say that I've got a $2000 bag full of old pills. Docs don't understand that sometimes the treatment is worse than the original problem. If your "et cetera" symptoms go really bad, you should definitely go to the hospital.

It can take a few weeks for antidepressants to work. The first few days are usually the worst when it comes to side effects.

Must be hard being the confused diversity model forcing a tense smile in an awkward toothpaste commercial focusing on whiteness and power.
My friend might have schizophrenia. He used to paint naked women with distorted monster faces and liked watching Attack On Titan. Today he came shaking in panic without his jacket and claimed to have been robbed by an armed nudist during winter. He also saw a nude giant hanging from a tree for no reason, but there was nothing else than a tree on his blurry photo. He showed us shaky videos of his door, but there was nothing there. Then he ran away to make sure that he was not crazy, without us being able to stop him. His insecurity might have been triggered by seeing me shake from PTSD.

    He's having a Psychotic episode.

    He must have urgent treatment.

How often does your friend get sleep?

I only ask because after you've been awake for an extended time period,
the subconscious can take over and can lead to what you described as your friend's behavior.

I have also witnessed this sort of thing watching over a friend whom had undergone a severe trauma
and it affected her dreaming to such an extent that she would see and interact with invisible things and people
while seeming awake, but, she was fast asleep (or sleepwalking.)

Realizing how much I have been doomscrolling, now that I somehow understand Ukrainian without subtitles.

Got my first treatment for PTSD, but it did not work because of the mine fields and barbed wires around my mental safe space. How am I supposed to feel safe without at least one tank for protection?

It is supposed to be a place where I can let my guard down, which does not go well with paranoia.

@Beholder It is not easy living with PTSD especially when exposing the roots...To strangers.
I totally understand and I hope you can find some internal peace by taking the right steps, For You.
Left my window open because cigar smoke entered the ventilation. Now I have hundreds of small butterflies escaping the cold weather instead.

    Good on ya there besides,
    Butterflies shouldn't smoke cigars. (y)

Killed most of them with my vacuum cleaner because they refused to fly out, so any butterfly effect will now be multiplied by hundreds.

LOL. In America, we have screens on our windows. Not a problem! :)

People are uncountable yet of a discrete quantity. Why not just measure crowd sizes in liters of people?
So many exterminated cultures have been erased from people's memory that I start to wonder if fairytales are a cover up for genocides against neanderthals and elves. An elven skeleton might look the same as a human skeleton because ears have no bones.
My employers idea of a relaxing company trip was to walk on mountains above the clouds in Germany without bringing any oxygen masks nor emergency equipment. Started to faint from the thin air as soon as I stepped out from the bus. The others regretted going on that walk.

At least I had the time to visit Hitler's bunker in Berchgestaden while my colleagues were walking to exhaustion.
